Registry 101

How to get on the Registry
Below are the steps that must be completed to be a Home Help Provider on the QC3 Registry:
  Step 1:
Call or email the QC3 and tell us you're interested in attending an Introductory Session (IS). The QC3 staff member will take your name, address and phone number(s).
  Step 2:
When an IS has been scheduled in your county, a Registry Management Associate will send you an invitation.
  Step 3:
Upon receiving the invitation, call the QC3 to reserve your seat for the IS.
  Step 4:
Attend the IS for the full two and a half hours. At the IS you will:
learn about the Registry and our policies & procedures
fill out an application where you will tell us your availability, the distance you are willing to travel, the tasks you are willing to do, etc.
provide the QC3 with 3-5 references
interview with one of the QC3 staff members
ask questions or talk about concerns you may have with a QC3 staff member
   ALMOST THERE!
  Step 5:
The QC3 will run:
 A criminal history background check
 Personal and professional reference checks
 National sex offender registry check

How we refer Providers on the Registry
A Consumer (someone who is receiving Medicaid Home Help assistance) will call the QC3 looking for a Provider, and we send them a list of 3 to 5 Providers from the Registry that best meet their needs. Whether or not you are on a particular list depends on a number of factors, from location to experience to availability.
The consumer will call the providers we send them, set up interviews and decide who they want to hire.
The number of times you are referred to consumers depends on the demand for providers in a given area, location and your experience and willingness to perform the tasks needed, among other things.

How to stay on the Registry
Call in by the 15th of EVERY month to verify that your contact information and availability has not changed.
Notify the QC3 if there are any changes to your criminal history. A background check is run on our Registry Providers every six months
