Tri-County Office on Aging
Senior citizens, family members, hospital staff, home health agencies, and neighbors depend on TCOA for direction, referrals and services for the community's aged disabled adults. Serving Michigan's Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties and the Cities of Lansing and East Lansing, TCOA is a state designated Region VI Area Agency on Aging. Detroit Area Agency on Aging
The DAAA's mission is to promote healthy aging and enhance the quality of life for older adults. They fulfill this through a variety of programming and advocacy services including Meals on Wheels, employment & training opportunities, housing and community service referrals and general information and assistance. PHI
PHI works nationally and locally to improve the lives of people who need home and residential care - and the lives of the workers who provide the care. Their goal is to ensure caring, stable relationships between consumers and workers, so that both may life with dignity, respect and independence. PHI develops recruitment, training, supervision and client-centered caregiving practices - along with the public policies necessary to support those practices.
 
Developmental Disabilities Institute at Wayne State University
DDI's mission is to contribute to the development of inclusive communities and quality of life for people with disabilities and their families through a culturally sensitive statewide program of interdisciplinary education, community support and services, research and dissemination of information.
 
Bay County Community Center
The Community Center offers recreational facilities and provides an excellent location for a variety of activities. They host programs and services for people of all ages including things like adult education classes, senior weight training and stop smoking programs.
 
Northwest Michigan Council of Governments
NWMCOG provides services and programs for the ten county region in Northwest Michigan. Some of their services are in direct support of the counties, some are independent services provided to the public and business at large.
 
Michigan Dementia Coalition
Consumers, community groups, academics from various Michigan universities, and state government representatives work together as the Michigan Dementia Coalition. Their purpose is to improve the quality of life of persons with dementia and their families in Michigan. They estimate 240,000 individuals in Michigan have dementia due to Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's or another of the many diseases that cause dementia.
 
Arab Community Center for Economic & Social Services (ACCESS)
ACCESS is a human services organization committed to the development of the Arab American community, and the greater community. To support this goal, ACCESS providers a wide range of human and cultural services as well as advocacy work.
 
Michigan Disability Rights Coalition
MDRC is a state-wide network of individuals and organizations that advances the issues of Michigan's disability community through grassroots activism, public education and advocacy.
 
The Arc Michigan
The Arc Michigan exists to empower local chapters of The Arc to assure that citizens with developmental disabilities are valued and that they and their families can participate fully in and contribute to the life of their community.
