Next board meeting is on Monday February 6 2012 at 6pm at the Tri-County Office on Aging. 

 

Chair - Scott Heinzman of Livonia. Mr. Heinzman is appointed to represent consumers for a term expiring June 17, 2014.

Vice Chair - Eric Thomas of Flint, advocate for the Genesee Regional Interagency Consumer Committee and president of Miscellaneous Records Inc., is appointed to represent consumer advocates for a term expiring June 17, 2013. He succeeds Kathy McGeathy whose term has expired. 

Treasurer - Marion Owen is the Director of the Tri-County Office on Aging and was appointed to represent consumers for an undetermined period.

Secretary - Sara Harrison of Lansing. Ms. Harrison is appointed to represent consumers for a term expiring June 17, 2013.

Houwyda Fawaz-Anouti of Dearborn Heights, director of social services main and special projects for ACCESS, is appointed to represent primary or secondary consumers of long-term care supports and services for a term expiring June 17, 2014.

Verna H. Spayth of Ann Arbor, disability advocate with ADAPT, is appointed to represent consumers for a term expiring June 17, 2011.

Tammy S. Finn of Grand Rapids, executive director of The Arc Kent County, is appointed to represent consumer advocates for a term expiring June 17, 2012.

Dohn Hoyle of Brighton, is Executive Director, The Arc Michigan. Mr. Hoyle is appointed to represent consumer advocates for a term expiring June 17, 2011.

In addition, two Board Members representing State Departments have been appointed by the Department heads. They are:

The Department of Community Health has an open seat.

The Department of Human Services has an open seat.
